Now I remember why...

...I drink so much diet coke.

I frequently suffer from insomnia. It is now 4:18 a.m. and I have not slept yet because I cannot sleep. I think it's hormones, but I can't be sure. Could be stress.


Tomorrow's dc consumption very well may be off the chart, let alone above the aimline.

  1. Doesn't seem like the amount you drink is outrageous. There are some good behavioral protocols out there for sleep issues. I know my advisor had the same problem and had to implement protocols for himself. I rarely have this problem, thankfully. I am so tired, I can fall asleep easily. But stress and worry will be the thing that really interferes with sleep, if there is interference.

  2. There are some days that I drink 2 liters. This graph doesn't show the extent that I used to drink. The reasons I want to quit are that there is simply no nutritional value to drinking it and evidence is piling up that it is actually unhealthy. I want to stop both for me and so that I'm not modeling soda drinking for BonnieBlue.
